Goetia 1904
Sallos appears as a gallant soldier on a crocodile, with a ducal crown upon his head. The Goetia explicitly describes the arrival as peaceable. Its great and mighty duke causes women to love men and men to love women, and governs thirty legions. [1]
Scot calls Saleos a great earl while giving him the same soldier, crocodile and duke’s crown. His very short notice ends with the peaceable appearance; it names neither an office nor a legion total. The 1904 account supplies both and calls the crowned rider a duke. [1][2]
