Goetia 1904
Murmur wears a ducal crown and rides a gryphon in a warrior’s form. His ministers sound great trumpets before him. He teaches philosophy perfectly and, when desired, brings deceased souls before the exorcist under constraint to answer whatever questions are put to them. [1]
He is both duke and earl, with thirty legions, and formerly belonged partly to the Thrones and partly to the Angels. Murmus and Murmux are names printed beside Murmur. [1]
Scot specifies two trumpet-bearing ministers where the Goetia leaves their number unstated. His earlier mounted form is called a soldier, rather than the later warrior. [1][2]
