Zagan turns metals into coin and fools into wise people. The gryphon-winged bull becomes human and changes liquids too: wine into water, blood into wine, and water into wine. [1]
Goetia 1904
Zagan appears first as a bull with gryphon’s wings and takes human shape after a while. He makes people witty and can make fools wise. His liquid changes are wine into water, blood into wine and water into wine. His metal transformation yields coin of the dominion to which the metal belongs. Both king and president, he governs thirty-three legions. [1]
Scot also includes wine into blood, making that pair an exchange in both directions. The Goetia retains blood into wine but omits the reverse change from its main list. [1][2]
