A column of characters and Hebrew writing

A small cross and an oval mark begin the central column. Larger characters descend below them, including a second cross-like form at the middle. On either side, Hebrew word groups occupy short lines, some separated by horizontal bars. [1]

The writing and central signs share the inner circle without forming a continuous rim inscription. Above them, a short cross joins the two circular boundaries. The other eight Kandariri have the same double outline and upper connecting cross, but use different arrangements within it. [1]

On the nine-talisman leaf

This is the upper-left talisman on leaf 49a. Gollancz’s English contents places the nine Kandariri at folios 48a–49a and describes them as talismans revealed to King Solomon. [1]
