Cimejes rides a handsome black horse as a valiant warrior, yet his teaching concerns grammar, logic and rhetoric. He discovers lost things and hidden treasure and rules the spirits placed in parts of Africa by the notice. [1]

Cimejes appears as a valiant warrior on a handsome black horse. His three named subjects are grammar, logic and rhetoric: language, reasoning and effective speech. He also reveals lost or hidden things and treasures. Twenty inferior legions are under the mighty marquis, whose jurisdiction is described as all spirits in the parts of Africa. [1]
Scot’s Cimeries gives a person the appearance of being quickly changed into a soldier. The Goetia instead gives the warrior appearance to Cimejes himself. Cimeies and Kimaris are further names in the later notice. [1][2]
