ODD-PRIME PUBLICATION REVISION: VERIFIER IMPLEMENTATION REVIEW
October 18, 2026, America/Chicago

SOURCE AND SCOPE

No original package on D: was edited. No manuscript, registry, manifest or
publication-state change was made by this verifier implementation task. The
parent Publisher handles those steps and independent final package sealing.

VERDICT
PASS for the two authorized verifier-hardening recommendations. The revised
numerical scripts retain the same formulas, tolerances, seeded finite inputs,
enumeration and measurement construction. Their acceptance gates now remain
active under Python optimization. The manifest checker now rejects ambiguous
or unsafe input before any manifested payload is opened.

CHANGES
1. Replaced all 11 numerical assertion statements in odd_prime_diagnostics.py
with explicit RuntimeError checks. Replaced the independent dense script's
single acceptance assertion likewise. The shared require helper is a normal
function and is included by the existing AST function-definition loader.

2. verify_package.py requires a nonempty manifest list whose entries have exactly
relative_path and sha256 keys. It rejects repeated JSON object keys, repeated
   paths and case-folded aliases, nonstring/invalid SHA256, self-manifest entries,
   absolute/drive/UNC/backslash/traversal/dot/empty-segment paths, control bytes,
Windows stream or wildcard punctuation, reserved device names and trailing
spaces/dots. All valid paths must resolve inside the package before payload
reads; then all digests and the complete exact file set are checked. Hashes
remain identity evidence rather than mathematical proof.

3. All six documented BLAS/thread environment variables are limited locally to
one for replay subprocesses. No global runtime configuration is changed.

4. Added a reusable isolated-fixture robustness script. It creates no output in
the source package. An explicit --output-dir must be empty or absent. It never
alters original evidence and its deliberate false mathematics stays within
   newly created scratch copies.

TEST COMMAND AND RUNTIME
Bundled CPython 3.12.14, NumPy 2.3.5; child BLAS/thread settings all 1.

RESULT: PASS, all 43 controls behaved as expected.
The complete exact commands, flags, environment optimization state, return codes
and output logs are in code-audit/robustness-receipt.json and adjacent case logs.

Four positive controls:
- A valid exact-file-set miniature package passes integrity validation.
- A miniature sealed package containing the actual revised three verification
sources passes full-wrapper replay under ordinary Python, direct -O, and
inherited PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1. Each full replay completes all 178 finite density
inputs, 36 physical batch laws, 1010 Fraction scalar checks and the supplied
two independent dense measurement cases. Parent -O alone is not propagated as
a flag to its child; inherited PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1 directly exercises that path.

Thirty-nine negative controls:
- Exact duplicates and case-folded manifest aliases are rejected explicitly.
- Invalid/nonstring hashes, wrong entry keys/types and four malformed JSON/list
cases (including a duplicate JSON key) are rejected.
- Nineteen unsafe or noncanonical path cases are rejected explicitly before
payload reads, including ../, nested traversal, ./, doubled slashes, absolute
POSIX paths, Windows drive/drive-relative/UNC/backslash paths, device aliases,
trailing dots/spaces, alternate streams, NUL control bytes and a self entry.
- Changed, missing and extra files each cause nonzero verifier exit.
- A false escape coefficient kappa=10 fails with "Escape bound failed" under
ordinary Python, -O and inherited PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1.
- A deliberately forced dense residual err=1 fails with "Dense projector
acceptance failed" under each of those same three modes.

LIMITATIONS AND NEXT STEP
This is an implementation and engineering-regression review by the editor of
these verifier changes. It does not replace the separate independent replay
audit. Its full-wrapper packages are minimal fixtures with exact final numerical
source hashes, not the final manuscript/review/manifest package. The parent must
regenerate the actual publication manifest and run its final integrity/full
replay after all editorial and review artifacts are finalized. Fresh saved
results should be labelled as current revision evidence; inherited results and
reviews should be labelled as baseline evidence. No executable depends on the
old JSON results, so moving them into verification/baseline is safe.

No all-n proof, complete learner simulation, practical resource demonstration,
originality verdict, external human refereeing or publication acceptance is
inferred from these controls.
